"Pros The toner saving selection is great
Cons It's a little noisy, but not a problem
I am printer saturated! I have not only an HP wide format DeskJet, and an HP color laserjet, and, I recently purchased this Samsung. This little printer is a whiz-it's fast, the toner cartridge seems to last forever, and best of all, it has a toner saving feature. The best part is that there is no visible difference in the print out when the toner saver is on. I print huge amounts of reports (I went through a ream and a half of paper last week!) and this is simply the best printer I have ever used. It's only drawback is that it is a little noisy-just before it starts to print, it sounds like the sound effect in Space Cadet pinball.
Don't let that deter you if you need to replace a printer or simply need a black & white laser printer--this one is relatively inexpensive and it's a great product.

"Pros: Fast and very economical compared to my HP. The toner saver feature is great, and I can tell no difference in the printed item from using the full toner. I am a telecommuting medical biller and I print lots every day. Just ordered my 3rd one, as the 2nd one just crapped out after a year of hard work.
Cons: Samsung has a plant about 15 miles from me, but their customer service stinks like a skunk in a sewage treatment plant. I know that the fuser has gone south on this one as it did on the first, but will not try for in warranty repair as I have to take it to an adjoining town and WAIT until the repair guys show up at their office (per samsung!)
Other Thoughts: This printer is priced so that you really don't feel the pain of replacement; watch for toner on sale and it's not too bad, either. I print 50-100 pgs a day, toner lasts me 3-4 months; when the red light goes on, I pull toner and shake hell out of it; it lasts another 2-3 weeks. "

"I've had this printer for over a year and I have not had a single problem with it. I have a small business and use it for everyday printing. I do not do massive amounts of printing. It has a 'toner save' setting which is great for making the toner last longer."

"I have been using this printer for about a year now. I use it A LOT. I print about 150 pages at a time, and it has been a huge help. There have been some very minor issues that are applicable to pretty much any printer. I have had fewer issues out of this printer than any other printer I have had. It also has the manual feed option that works quite well. It is a great value, a great buy, and a great quality printer. I would highly recommend it. I purchase my toner cartridges online for about 30 bucks. It's cheaper to maintain than inkjets."
