"Pros: Beautiful color and ease of operation

Cons: Lack of equipment documention by HP

Summary: After initial setup, which took longer due to insufficient instructions, the printer began working and has continued to work without problems. I have had HP laser printers before and this 2600n by far is a far superior machine to the older model, in weight, operation, initial cost, toner cost and not having to purchase additional equipment, such as fusers & etc. This machine is a welcomed and excellent addition to our homebased business."

"This printer sits very comfortably on my home network. It was easy to connect and set up and print quality is good (not photo quality). It easily manages the light duty cycle I expose it to, and is a lot less trouble than the ink jet it replaced. Bear in mind that the toner is expensive. It requires 4 cartridges (black + 3 colour), if you buy new HP products, these cost around £50 each. You can almost buy a new printer for the cost of the cartridges. "
